Super fast growing plant, pretty lanky with lots of branching. Requires moderately light feed, is sensitive to overwatering and elevated temps in the root zone. Prefers loose/airy media with very good drainage and lower water retention is beneficial.

Media –

Does well in:

• Soil-less – (ie: Promix)
• Coco/perlite- Gets much better root growth rates using at least 30-60% perlite in coco/peat mediums
• DWC – Cold water with high aeration is very important for this cut to really shine. 

Not as well in:

• Ebb’n’Flow – Can be Finicky with ph in flood and drain in particular.
• Soil – doesn’t seem to like premade organic potting mixes or other store bought soils. Most come too hot nutritionally for this one while establishing root system. Also, extremely slow growth comparatively(even with Promix)

Feed –

Keep feed low and stay reactive to deficiencies early on, very gradual nutrient level increases, don’t even try to push this cut at all. If you get to where you’re seeing lockout/tip burn/other signs of toxicity, its very likely to stall/stunt in short order, and it’s extremely slow to recover.  Not unusual to take 1-2 months+ after stalling in the first few weeks of flower.

We mostly use the “veg+bloom – tap/hard” one part nutrient mix from hydroponic research, which is formulated to buffer/stabilize water ph straight from the tap for hydro and soilless systems.
